Hey, I'm seriously almost done with something to post! How about that? Actually, once I'm done typing here I'll finish it up. Not even kidding.

I was away on a little trip, so that's sort of an excuse for not being around here... still haven't accomplished much of anything in the way of picture-making.

But I have been drawing quite a bit! Following the John K curriculum [link] , I've been carefully analyzing and duplicating the drawings presented in a book on animation by Preston Blair. It's one thing to know in your head the principles of construction and motion and all that; it's another thing entirely to develop the hand-eye coordination to make things look nice. And if I'm going to try to develop that, I'll need a solid reference point.

Also, anyone see that trailer for Rango? [link] I'm... intrigued.
